Kitchen Porter

An independent Catholic preparatory school in Hampstead, London, for boys aged 4 to 13. Catering for just over 350 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Lunch and hospitality at this location. This is a term time only contract and operated Monday to Friday. This location benefits from great transport links.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in London.

You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.

• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
• Great team player
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Operate industrial dishwasher

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Organisation Skills.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
