Head of Client Insights & Research

Do you have the ability to map market trends and produce insightful reports for clients? We’re looking for an expert Head of Client Insights & Research to shape, develop and deliver insights to enhance our client conversations and relationships across our five main divisions. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact - supporting client growth, strengthening our brand and guiding partners with high‑quality, market‑leading intelligence.

The role will manage a research team of three, providing them with support, working towards our Vision 2030 plan and enhance the Carter Jonas brand.

Based in our HQ office, One Chapel Place, close to both Bond Street and Oxford Circus, you will be based in a prime west end location. • Key contributor to the overall firmwide client development strategy
• Stimulate client conversations by producing reports on areas of the property industry that support Divisional growth strategies, including rural, residential, planning & development, commercial and infrastructure divisions.
• Support Partners to meet with clients and deliver insight presentations
• Support the internal bid & client development teams, providing data and expertise to ensure Carter Jonas are well placed to grow client relationships
• Build a range of external consulting research projects commissioned by clients
• Connect partners in the business to support & contribute to research activities
• Develop a research strategy to support client service excellence

• Work closely with marketing to ensure research supports brand objectives from the outset
• Advise graphic design team with final presentation of research documents
• Raise the profile of Carter Jonas through original and thought-provoking research
• Work with other key business leaders to develop and strengthen Carter Jonas’s external reputation and brand

• Manage and provide direction to a small team of researchers/analysts
• Analyse and critique economic data and forecasts and incorporate with Carter Jonas views & expertise
• Disseminate complex information and present in a style tailored to audience
• Keep up to date with market activity
• Seek the full range of relevant and accurate information
• Identify market trends and forecasts and communicate appropriately
• Responsible for the research budget & subscription contract management
• Build and develop relevant contacts to support research activities

You will ideally bring experience and a respected market profile within property or related sectors, with a track record in client reporting. You will be confident presenting insight to senior clients and partners and be able to build networks that support both research and business opportunities. You will also have gained experience in leading and developing teams alongside exceptional stakeholder management.

It is key that you have the ability to produce compelling, strategic research across multiple sectors and support with bid and tender presentations to help build on strengthening our client development.
