Position: Lab Technician x 3
Your new company
Hays Life Sciences are exclusively partnered with a research lab in London to recruit 3 x Lab Technicians to support the biological analysis of clinical patient samples in order to support their ongoing research programmes.

Your new role
These roles are fully lab based and on a 3-month contract basis (paid hourly), working Monday to Friday.

You will be working closely with the lab head and other members of the team to generate and support the analysis of large amounts of data using ELISA based assays, as well as maintaining the lab and ensuring the quality of results.
Training will be provided on the assay platform but previous strong ELISA experience is required.

What you'll need to succeed
You should have:

A BSc / MSc / MRes (or equivalent experience) in biology, biochemistry, or a related area. Other qualifications/experience will also be considered.
Direct, hands-on experience with ELISA or other immunoassays (theoretical knowledge is not sufficient).
The ability to start a role by mid- to late-March (candidates who are not available before April will not be considered).
Good communication and organisational skills, as you will regularly be liaising with other team members.
Experience working as a lab technician / assistant or associate scientist with regular usage of ELISA or similar techniques is highly preferred (equivalent experience, eg a full-time lab position as part of an MRes is also acceptable).
