STICERD Research Assistant
Salary: £36,513 to £41,565 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468 pa inclusive of London allowance.
Duration: 12‑month fixed term, starting in Summer/Autumn 2026.
We are seeking motivated, independent, and highly skilled pre‑doctoral research assistants to support ongoing research in development, environmental, labour, and applied microeconomics.
The successful candidates will have completed, by the post start date, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in economics or a closely related discipline and possess strong quantitative and data‑analysis skills. They will manage their own areas of responsibility independently without constant direct supervision. Experience with Stata is essential; experience with R and/or Python is desirable. Fluency in written and spoken English and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Candidates should have a long‑term interest in progression to a doctoral programme and conducting research in economics.
