About the RoleJoin Ipsos Understanding Unlimited (UU) as a Research Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality qualitative research projects. Immerse yourself in a dynamic environment, working with a global reach to understand consumer behavior and motivations. You’ll lead research projects from start to finish, overseeing project teams, ensuring high‑quality deliverables, and contributing to business development. Your expertise in research methodologies and project management will be indispensable in ensuring client satisfaction and project profitability.
AboutYou
- Strong understanding of qualitative research methodologies
- Comfortable conducting a range of methodologies including online and more traditional F2F methods – the role will sometimes involve the need for domestic travel within the UK
- Proven track record of success in market research, with experience in managing projects and client relationships.
- Genuine interest in the FMCG space, working across projects involving market understanding, brand strategy, communications development & product testing
- Enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, and able to juggle the needs and responsibilities of multiple projects in parallel
- Strong understanding of qualitative research methodologies and a passion for delivering insightful results.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing materials for clients, such as discussion guides.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing impactful deliverables, such as reports.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and time management skills, being a quick learner and very detail‑oriented.
- Expertise in analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Skills in commercial awareness, managing project finances
- Proficient in AI, familiar with predictive modelling and sentiment analysis
- Highly collaborative and enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team
