Job Description
We’re working with a well‑established, values‑led residential property organisation operating across the private rented sector. They manage a large and diverse portfolio of homes and are known for their customer‑first approach, strong compliance standards, and progressive working culture.
Due to increased workload, they’re seeking an experienced Renewals Adviser to join their commercial operations team on an interim basis.
The RoleThis role plays a key part in income protection, customer retention, and tenancy compliance. You’ll take ownership of tenancy renewals from end to end, ensuring tenants receive a first‑class service while maximising rental income and adhering to current legislation.
- Contract:
3-months initially (ongoing thereafter) - Rates: £25.77 per hour via Umbrella
- Location:
3 days from home, 2 days in Kings Cross office
- Proactively manage and negotiate tenancy renewals, setting rents in line with market conditions and internal policy
- Retain tenants through excellent customer service and effective communication
- Generate and manage renewal agreements, ensuring accuracy of property and tenancy data
- Handle change of sharer requests and provide clear advice throughout the renewals process
- Ensure full compliance with legislation, including Right to Rent and deposit protection
- Maintain detailed records and audit trails to support reporting and decision‑making
- Proven experience in tenancy renewals, lettings, or property management within the private rented sector
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident analysing market data to inform rent setting decisions
- Comfortable managing a high‑volume workload in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office and property management systems
- Propertymark or TPI Level 2 (or willing to achieve within 6 months)
- Competitive £25.77/hr
