Land Buyer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Land Buyer to join a leading property developer with a strong pipeline of projects across London and the South East. This is a key role within the business, offering exposure to high-profile urban redevelopment and mixed-use regeneration schemes.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, appraising, and securing residential and mixed-use development opportunities. You will work closely with the senior management and planning teams, driving land acquisition strategies from initial sourcing through to purchase completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and appraise potential land opportunities across London and surrounding areas.

* Conduct financial feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports for board approval.

* Negotiate land purchases and manage offers through to legal completion.

* Maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities, and consultants.

* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and planning policies to inform strategy.

* Support the planning process and assist with development appraisals.

About You

* Proven experience as a Land Buyer (or Assistant Land Buyer ready to step up) within the residential or mixed-use development sector.

* Strong market knowledge of London and the South East.

* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

* Financially astute with strong analytical and commercial awareness.

* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
