Residential Development and Investment Valuer

About The Role

Foxtons’ Residential Development & Investment team is expanding, and we’re looking for a driven, commercially minded valuer to source, appraise, and win instructions across London. This role focuses on mixed use assets, development opportunities, land, and residential investment stock, working with developers, investors, and property companies.

You’ll operate across the whole of London, leveraging Foxtons’ market leading brand, extensive network, and data insights to secure high quality instructions and support the team’s continued growth.

• Value development opportunities, residential investments, mixed use buildings, and land across Greater London.
• Conduct pricing analysis, appraisals, and market research to deliver accurate, commercially aligned valuations.
• Generate new business by building relationships with developers, investors, landlords, property companies, and introducers.
• Manage and convert valuation opportunities into signed instructions.
• Work collaboratively with sales negotiators and the wider Foxtons network to maximise transaction success.
• Provide clients with informed advice on exit strategies, pricing trends, and sales strategies.
• Maintain a pipeline of valuation opportunities and track performance metrics.
• Support the Head of RDI with key client accounts and large or complex instructions.
• Represent Foxtons in meetings, viewings, pitches, and industry events.

• Work within one of the fastest growing specialist teams in Foxtons.

Experience:

• Ideally 2+ years’ experience in property sales, valuations, or development/investment agency.
• Experience in a senior sales role or as a valuer is highly desirable.
• Exposure to land, mixed use, development, or investment stock is a bonus, but strong residential or commercial experience will also be considered.

• A natural deal‑maker with proven sales or valuation experience.
• Ambitious and excited by development/investment agency.
• Confident operating London‑wide and meeting senior clients.
• Keen to grow within a high‑performance team with strong leadership.

• Confident valuer with strong pricing instincts and commercial thinking.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build credibility quickly with developers, landlords, and investors.
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a London wide patch.
• Strong business development instincts and a track record of generating new opportunities.
• Self motivated, ambitious, and comfortable working with autonomy.
