Food Quality Technologist; Supplier Audit

• The food quality technologist will be responsible for supplier monitoring including new supplier approval, evaluating risk assessments, as well as animal feed and organic approval.
• You will be responsible for participating in HACCP meetings, approving manufacturing orders and resolving any questions or queries related to this.
• You will support the quality department with updating and reviewing product documentation, labelling, specifications and packaging including COA, SDS, allergens, GMO and animal feed.
• The food quality technologist will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of the QMS and participate in projects identified by the business to further this.
• Highly desirable:
  Mandarin speaking
• Strong knowledge of Quality/Technical Requirements and food industry standards including HACCP, BRC Food, Agents and Brokers.
• 3+ years’ experience in a quality or technical role in R&D role in the food or ingredients industry.
• Experience in auditing suppliers and resolving non-conformances or complaints.
• Desirable experience working with retail online specification systems
• Understanding of food legislation/labelling is essential.
