JOB DESCRIPTION – QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSISTANT

Main Function of job:

• Sampling, analysis, and positive release of raw materials
• Perform product quality checks
• Host taste panel sessions daily
• Management of retained samples
• Carry out tasks relating to testing schedule
• Prepare certificates offormance and analysis
• Audit factory hygiene standards daily
• Hygiene line checks after change overs, including allergen rapid testing
• Perform factory checks e.g., knife audits, calibration checks, temperature checks
• Logging, investigating, and close out of non-conformances and customer complaints
• Verification of records
• Carry out internal audits
• Carry out staff training
• Provide support to other members of the technical team where required, including holiday and absence cover
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement by putting forward ideas that might improve quality, efficiency and profitability of the business
• Ensure food safety, authenticity, legality, and quality standards are maintainedli>
