Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, proactive and results driven Quality Manager to lead and enhance our organisations quality assurance and improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of product quality, ensuring compliance with industry regulations whilst meeting customer expectations and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about quality management and committed to driving excellence across operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
- Lead investigations into product defects or non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and other departments to ensure quality standards are integrated into all processes.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
- Engage directly with customers to address quality-related issues, provide updates, and build trust in our processes.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics for senior management review.
- Stay updated on industry developments related to quality assurance and HACCP regulations.
- Proven experience in a quality management role or readiness to step up from a supervisory / quality-focused position.
- Experience of Quality Management or supervision in a manufacturing industry would be beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality frameworks.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills to liaise across departments and deliver training programmes.
- Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality excellence.
