Quality Assurance Specialist – Fixed Term Contract
Quality Assurance Specialist (Full‑time, 12‑18 months fixed‑term contract)
Hybrid – 2 office days, Central London
We are Prinova, a global supplier of ingredients and premix manufacturing solutions. Part of the NAGASE Group, we support food, beverage and nutrition brands worldwide.
What does this role involve?
The role is within our Operational Quality team and focuses on maintaining and improving the quality and safety of products and processes within our ingredients distribution business. It includes:
- Lead investigations into non‑conformances and write detailed reports.
- Perform root cause analysis using FMEA, 5‑Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and develop CAPA plans.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions, verifying effectiveness.
- Perform risk assessments for product safety and efficacy.
- Support customer complaint resolution cross‑functionally.
- Provide trend reports on quality events.
Audit & Compliance
- Support site preparation for internal, customer and third‑party audits (BRC, customer audits).
- Ensure documentation and records are maintained and available.
- Monitor operational compliance with regulatory and food‑safety standards.
Continuous Improvement & Training
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation.
- Reduce waste and enhance product quality through process improvements.
- Support quality assessment of supplier services and monitor supplier performance.
Cross‑functional Support
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Commercial and Supply Chain teams on quality expectations.
Requirements
- Chinese language skills highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of operational quality processes, food‑safety standards and best practices.
- Experience conducting investigations and managing CAPAs.
- Track record in investigations and cross‑functional communication.
- Proactive, prioritising tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- 5 years experience in supplier quality or quality assurance in ingredients distribution or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, GMP.
- Experience conducting supplier audits and managing corrective actions.
