Responsibilities:

• Cut, shape, and polish diamonds to create finished gemstones.
• Use precision tools and equipment to achieve desired cuts and facets.
• Inspect rough diamonds to determine the best cut to maximize value and minimize waste.
• Follow industry standards and specifications for diamond cutting.
• Maintain detailed records of cutting processes and results.
• Ensure all safety and security protocols are followed during cutting operations.
• Collaborate with gemologists, jewelers, and other team members to meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in diamond cutting or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification from a recognized gemological institute is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to use precision cutting and polishing tools.
  • Knowledge of diamond grading and cutting standards.
  • Good eyesight and the ability to focus on detailed work for extended periods.
