Wates are looking for a Quality Manager to join our Construction Team in London, focusing on high-profile, technically complex projects across multiple sectors.
Key Accountabilities- Management and oversight of quality control for the designated project, supporting the Construction Team with the practical application of Digital / Field Tools to proactively record inspections and snagging, and ensuring compliance with our Operating Framework.
- Investigation of incidents where quality / workmanship is the root cause, ensuring appropriate remedial activities, identifying areas for improvement/lessons learnt and implementing necessary improvements.
- Review Construction performance against industry practice to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, specification, and best practice.
- Lead on continual improvement of the Operating Framework (OF), ensuring relevance to the business, informed by feedback from Operating Framework users, Field View / Dalux data, external audits, compliance reviews, incidents, complaints, industry best practice and lessons learnt.
