Technical Assurance Coordinator
Location: Dunstable (Office-based with occasional site visits; hybrid option after probation)
Salary: £40,000
Travel Allowance: £0.45 per mile
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00‑16:30

We are looking for an experienced Quality & Technical Assurance Coordinator to join our team and support the delivery of Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical assurance documentation, quality management processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), risk registers, and acceptance records.
- Manage material and product approval processes in line with specifications and standards.
- Support non‑conformance management and assist with internal, client, and third‑party audits.
- Collate and maintain inspection reports, test certificates and QA documentation.
- Compile and format complete project record packs and approvals for client handover.
- Prepare and maintain Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Track technical risks and issues, maintaining clear records for reporting.
- Ensure all QA/TA documents are correctly registered, stored and version‑controlled.
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to obtain and verify required documentation.
- Proven experience in Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 project environments within the construction or engineering sector.
- Experience with quality assurance paperwork – strong knowledge of QA and TA processes, including preparation of ITPs, Quality Plans and technical submissions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Audit familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience compiling as‑built records and O&M manuals for project close‑out.
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (BS EN, ISO).
