Quality Specialist – Renewables (Wind & Solar)

Industry: Renewable Energy (Onshore Wind & Solar PV)

Are you passionate about driving quality in the fast-growing renewables sector? We’re looking for a Quality Specialist to support our UK operations across onshore wind and solar PV projects – both operational and under construction. What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and maintain our internal & external audit programme.
• Take ownership of our Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure compliance and continuous accreditation.
• Develop and refine quality standards, procedures, and specifications across the organisation.
• Review and update operational procedures to align with the latest guidelines.
• Document procedural changes and maintain records effectively.
• Produce clear and insightful performance reports for key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, legal, and international standards.
• Manage non-conformances and support resolution alongside business teams.
• Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance quality processes.
• Deliver quality training sessions to empower teams and boost quality awareness.

What You’ll Bring

• Hands-on experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 (internal auditing certifications required).
• Proven track record working with Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
• Background in quality management (experience in renewables is a big plus).
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Strong communication skills – capable of influencing across all levels.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Confident in using modern IT tools and platforms.
• Valid UK driving licence and full right to work in the UK.
