• Oversee product safety, quality, and compliance for all items distributed, with a focus on plastics, printed products, and some textiles.
• Ensure all products meet UK and EU regulatory requirements.
• Determine and manage testing requirements; compile and review technical files; conduct risk assessments; and verify product specifications.
• Review artworks and packaging to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor in-market product performance and lead timely investigations and corrective actions where required.
• Manage product safety reporting, analysis, and continuous quality improvement processes.
• Introduce and enhance quality assurance tools throughout the product design and development process.
• Oversee inspection standards across factories, ensuring consistency and alignment with company quality expectations.
• Maintain and continuously develop the company’s quality manual in line with regulatory updates and customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with design teams and have hands-on involvement across multiple licensed product projects.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar quality, product safety, or compliance role within consumer goods.
• A practical, detail-focused manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple projects.
• A natural problem-solver with a proactive approach to improving systems, processes, and product performance.
• Engineering knowledge or experience is beneficial in understanding product design and manufacturing risks.
