Advanced Surgical Vet , North West Potential Partnership

Position: Advanced Surgical Vet Vacancy, Up To £95k North West Potential Partnership.

our client in north west london have an opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join them in an advanced surgical vet capacity. Candidate must at the very minimum be holders of at least one surgical certificate, ideally an avp. Candidates should be capable of carrying out the following procedures:

• extensive experience in small animal surgery, including ability to perform tplo/ttas or equivalent,
• spinals,
• fracture repair and complex soft tissue (eg. Perineal urethrostomy, teca, boas, thoracotomy)

the successful candidate will be joining a large team of vets, the partners have decades of experience between them. There are multiple certificate holders/referral vets and a team of exceptional nurses and support team as well as the dedicated night team.

included in the vet team are a number of less experienced vets including those looking to progress surgically. The role will also include mentoring these vets.

the practice is superbly equipped:

• mri
• ct
• extensive orthopaedic suite, including tplo's, spinal, arthroscopy, laparoscopy,
• digitalx-ray
• milab x7 ultrasound
• multi parameter monitors
• also, everything else you would expect to to see in such a large, tire 3 hospital.

the package for this role is up to £95k, based on a 4 day week, plus a host of additional benefits to be discussed.
