About the Department and Trust

St. George’s Emergency Department is one of the largest in the country, seeing approximately 160,000 patients a year. The Emergency Department employs over 130 nurses and prides itself on teamwork, a friendly working environment, flexible working opportunities, and ongoing support for the health and well-being of its team.
