• Work in partnership with the Cath Lab Manager/Senior Staff Nurse in the smooth and efficient running of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) service at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, providing high quality skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
• Perform scrub, circulatory and recovery nurse duties pertaining to diagnostic, interventional and pacing procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
• Work with team members in the delivery of high quality evidence based patient care in a busy and diverse clinical area.
• Provide support and mentorship for students and junior nurses.
• Work shift patterns to meet the demands of the cath lab service.

• Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
• Widening access (anchor institution) and employability
• Improving the experience of staff with disability
• Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development
