Practice Nurse - Mitcham - ANP COURSE

The Practice Nurse – (this post offers sponsored ANP course) is located in Mitcham and is a part-time/permanent position of 19 hours per week. The successful candidate will be sponsored to complete the Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Prescribing course.

You will work alongside a friendly team of GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses and ANPs to deliver an exceptional standard of patient care and support.

• Basic Practice Nurse duties
• Providing health promotional advice such as Smoking Cessation and Weight loss advice
• Managing the following clinical tasks:

• Asthma reviews
• Baby immunisations
• Diabetes
• Cytology
• Chronic diseases
• COOP reviews
• Spiro metric tests
• Travel vaccinations
• B12 & other injections
• Care plans for dementia
• Elderly checks

• Enhanced DBS issued within the last year
• Relevant experience and qualifications
• Registered with NMC with a valid PIN
