This role provides in‑flight medical support for a partner medical aviation provider based in London. You will support patient care during medical transport flights, follow clinical protocols, and coordinate with medical and flight teams to ensure safe patient transfers. This is an on‑ground and in‑flight healthcare role with direct patient responsibility. Skalantis will help screen and refer suitable candidates. Final hiring and employment will be managed by the partner medical aviation provider.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide in‑flight medical care as per clinical protocols, monitor patient vitals and document observations, administer medications as prescribed, coordinate with flight crew and medical teams, prepare and check medical equipment before flights, handle post‑flight handovers and basic reporting, and follow safety and compliance procedures during patient transport.
Skills and Requirements- Valid nursing qualification as per UK regulations
- Eligibility for UK nursing registration or willingness to complete licensing process
- Clear spoken and written English
- Professional clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Ability to work on‑site and travel as required for flight duties
- Comfort working in high‑pressure medical environments
