We have an exciting learning opportunity for a Band 5 staff nurse to join our Neonatal service .
Our Neonatal units are level 2, caring for babies born from 27 weeks gestation and above. We have 3 levels of care
- Intensive, high dependency and special care and you would be well supported within our amazing team.
We support a very busy maternity unit and work within the Neonatal network around London to ensure every baby is cared for in the best possible place.
Main duties of the jobOpportunities for Band 5 nurses to develop their skills within the Neonatal speciality. We are looking to for nurses who are wanting to complete the Neonatal QIS course course with the support of our amazing PDN team.

To work within both the nursing and multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence based, holistic and family centred care to neonates from admission to discharge.
To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care within the neonatal unit.
To participate in the teaching and supervision of junior staff and student nursesas required.
To be a safe and effective practitioner able to provide patients and parents/carers with high quality nursing care.
- RN Child/RSCN/RM/RGN
- Degree/Diploma
- Mentor Course (formally ENB 998 / 997) or equivalent
- Intravenous Certificate
- Neonatal Intensive Care Course (formally ENB 405 ) or equivalent
- Management of a group of patients
- Ability to work with / facilitating students and junior staff
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
