Location: London Bridge Hospital
Employment type: Full time, Permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Monday to Sunday (flexibility required for long days, nights and weekends)
Salary: Competitive (DOE) plus 9% shift allowance
About the RoleWe’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join the Orthopaedics inpatients ward at The London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. In this role you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care to patients within a safe, caring and comfortable environment, supervising and directing junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care to patients within a safe, caring and comfortable environment.
- Supervise and direct junior staff within the Orthopaedics department.
- Work within the team and manage patient care throughout the shift.
- Provide comprehensive support for a variety of different orthopaedic cases.
- Registered Nurse Level 1.
- NMC Registration and premise & preparation (PREP) requirements.
- ENB course/experience relevant to an orthopaedic environment.
- Confident communicator with high levels of written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of relevant NMC/national guidelines, policies and procedures.
