Urogynaecology Nurse – Band 6
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join our urogynaecology team, working alongside our Consultant Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Urogynaecology Consultants to grow the service. The nurse performs a vital role in patient support, education and delivering nurse‑led treatments across hospital and community locations. Responsibilities- Support the Urogynaecology nursing service and train to run nurse‑led Urogynaecology clinics under supervision.
- Deliver nurse‑led treatments including vaginal pessary management, bladder instillations, bladder training, percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation and teaching intermittent self‑catheterisation.
- Conduct face‑to‑face or telephone consultations.
- Work independently with excellent interpersonal skills and up‑to‑date knowledge.
- Previous relevant experience in continence care.
- Competent in female catheterisation.
- Evidence of excellent communication skills / supporting patients.
- Post‑registration experience in women’s health role.
- Basic understanding of bladder and bowel dysfunction.

Pay scheme:
Agenda for change. Salary: £44,485 to £52,521 per year (incl HCAS – outer, pro‑rata).
Contract:
Permanent. Working pattern:
