Overview
The International Systematic Abuse Justice Organization (ISAJO) is dedicated to eradicating systematic abuse worldwide by advocating for comprehensive legal reforms and effective rehabilitation of perpetrators. By doing so, we help prevent systematic abuse from occurring, reunite families, and allow more people to live in dignity, freedom, and self-determination. We collaborate with governments, communities, and organisations to create a world where exploitation is outlawed, justice is served, and survivors and their families can rebuild their lives with hope and empowerment.
ResponsibilitiesRole Description
ISAJO is seeking a Fundraising team (Volunteer) to help shape and guide our fundraising strategy as we grow from an early-stage organisation into a sustainable, impactful charity. This is a remote, flexible role focused on helping ISAJO secure charitable funding aligned with our mission, values, and long-term goals.
The Fundraising Person will:
- Help develop ISAJO’s fundraising strategy and income-generation roadmap
- Advise trustees and leadership on appropriate funding models (grants, trusts, foundations, individual giving, partnerships, etc.)
- Identify and prioritise suitable funding opportunities aligned with ISAJO’s mission
- Support the development of compelling funding narratives, cases for support, and applications
- Provide guidance on ethical fundraising practices and donor stewardship
You can shape your involvement — from high-level strategy and governance advice to hands-on support with grant planning or funding pipelines. At the moment, we are a very small organisation, newly formed, and in the start-up phase. That means the work is strategic rather than high-volume, and your input will have a direct, visible impact on ISAJO’s future.
Qualifications- Experience in fundraising, income generation, grant funding, or development strategy
- Understanding of charity funding landscapes
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into realistic funding approaches
- Professional integrity and strong ethical judgment
- Excellent communication and digital collaboration skills
- Experience working with early-stage or start-up charities
- Familiarity with trust and foundation fundraising
- Experience in human rights, social justice, research, or advocacy organisations
- Willingness to mentor or upskill trustees and volunteers in fundraising fundamentals
- Volunteer position, fully remote, flexible around your schedule
We aim to create win-win situations for our volunteers — your professional growth and interests matter to us as much as your contribution to ISAJO’s mission.
You’ll join a supportive, international team that values openness, adaptability, collaboration, and learning.
