Senior Brand Manager (FMCG)

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager to take full day-to-day ownership of a purpose-led FMCG brand. This role is about turning strategy into action — driving growth, strengthening brand equity and ensuring the brand shows up consistently across packaging, campaigns, trade activity and communications.

At the heart of the role is a clear brand Manifesto. You’ll be accountable for embedding this into brand plans, portfolio decisions, packaging and communications, ensuring purpose and commercial performance go hand in hand.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations), you’ll lead execution with clarity, pace and impact — backed by strong performance tracking and insight.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Lead brand strategy and annual planning in partnership with the Head of Marketing
• Own brand positioning, target audiences and priorities
• Build and manage the annual calendar of campaigns, launches and key moments
• Translate strategy into clear briefs, deliverables and timelines
• Manage the brand budget responsibly

• Own the brand’s creative direction: look, feel and tone of voice
• Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, toolkits and messaging frameworks
• Ensure consistent brand expression across all touchpoints (digital, retail, OOH, packaging)
• Partner with communications to ensure messaging is accurate, compelling and on-brand

• Own brand KPIs, reporting and P&L responsibility
• Analyse performance drivers, risks and opportunities
• Track brand health, consumer perception and category trends
• Monitor competitors and translate insight into action
• Manage range performance and identify optimisation opportunities
• Lead the end-to-end NPD process, from concept to post-launch review
• Build and manage a rolling innovation pipeline
• Ensure innovation and renovations align with sustainability commitments and circular design principles
• Deliver robust launch plans across proposition, packaging, trade and communications

• Build and deliver the annual retail trade plan
• Brief and manage trade marketing activity
• Ensure alignment across retail, customer and out-of-home plans
• Evaluate performance and apply learnings

• 4+ years’ experience in brand management (FMCG preferred)
• Strong commercial acumen with confidence owning a P&L
• Proven experience launching new products and managing innovation pipelines
• Experience working closely with Sales and leading retail trade marketing
• Data-driven, with the ability to turn insight into action
• Excellent communicator with strong briefing and agency management skills
• Passionate about sustainability, ethical business and purpose-led brands
• Curious, collaborative and comfortable in a fast-paced, small-company environment
• A genuine interest in food & drink and engaging consumers in the hot beverages space
