Social Media Executive – Luxury Travel

Central London location, Hybrid 2 days in, 3 days from home

£35,000-£40,000, DOE, plus benefits, including Travel Opportunities!

Our client is a leading multi award-winning luxury tour operator specialising in creating tailor‑made holidays, premium beach escapes and unforgettable long‑haul journeys. With over 20 years of expertise within luxury travel, they're now elevating their social presence and bringing their brand story to life across multiple platforms.

The role is seeking an incredibly creative and polished Social Media Executive who can become a recognisable face of the brand and inspire our client's audience through exceptional storytelling.

Role Overview

The Social Media Executive will create, manage and optimise content across our client’s organic and paid social channels, including Meta, Linked In and soon‑to‑launch Tik Tok presence. The role requires someone who can deliver both inspirational content that sparks wanderlust and tactical content that drives engagement, enquiries and conversions.

You’ll be a natural storyteller with a strong eye for luxury aesthetics, an instinct for compelling hooks, and the confidence to appear on camera as part of our client’s brand identity. Working closely with the marketing, product and partnerships teams, you’ll produce content that showcases our client’s luxury destinations, hotels, tours and people — helping to build trust, inspire travel and strengthen their brand and voice.

Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Storytelling
  • Produce high‑quality inspirational content that showcases destinations, hotels and experiences.
  • Create tactical content that supports campaigns, drives action and communicates key messages clearly.
  • Develop engaging short‑form video content, including on‑camera pieces, interviews and behind‑the‑scenes features.
  • Identify strong hooks, trends and storytelling angles that resonate with a luxury travel audience.
  • Maintain a polished, aspirational and consistent tone of voice across all content.
Brand Representation
  • Act as an on‑camera ambassador for our client, helping to “put a face to the luxury brand”.
  • Conduct interviews with internal teams, hotel partners, tourist boards and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the brand confidently and professionally in all public‑facing content.
Social Media Management
  • Plan and schedule content across all channels, ensuring a balanced mix of inspirational and tactical posts.
  • Support paid social campaigns with creative assets and messaging.
  • Monitor performance, analyse insights and recommend improvements to increase reach and engagement.
Collaboration & Partnerships
  • Work with hotels, tourist boards and travel partners to source content and co‑create storytelling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to align social content with campaigns, product launches and brand initiatives.
Quality & Consistency
  • Uphold a luxury aesthetic and meticulous attention to detail in all visual and written content.
  • Ensure all posts meet brand guidelines and reflect the premium nature of our client’s luxury product.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in social media content creation within travel, lifestyle or luxury sectors.
  • Proven ability to create engaging short‑form video content and appear confidently on camera.
  • Strong storytelling skills with an instinct for compelling hooks and narratives.
  • Ability to produce both inspirational and tactical content tailored to different objectives.
  • Excellent written English with the ability to maintain a polished, luxury tone of voice.
  • Experience managing both organic and paid social content.
  • Strong understanding of social trends, platform best practices and audience behaviour.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.
