The marketing department is responsible for creating best-in-class marketing campaigns that maintain and grow our customer base. Increasing brand awareness to acquire new customers and engaging our existing customer base to increase LTV, our award-winning marketing department consists of four teams: brand marketing, brand partnership marketing, content and paid media.
Role OverviewThe Social Media Manager (Tik Tok) is responsible for creating and overseeing the implementation of the global organic social media strategy for Tik Tok and creating best-in-class, audience-centric, innovative content that drives Space NK awareness and appeal.
The role is responsible for managing the day‑day workload and development of a team of two.
Key Responsibilities- Be the internal organic Tik Tok expert; know everything about our audience on the platform, what content performs best, what doesn’t work and what the next big thing is.
- Develop, implement and evolve an audience-based global organic social strategy for Tik Tok based on audience insights, business objectives and channel KPIs.
- Create and execute a calendar of best-in-class social media activity for Space NK's Tik Tok channel that aligns with marketing moments, customer mindset and trading priorities, dedicated to engaging our audiences on Tik Tok.
- Project manage all organic social media activity on Tik Tok including asset briefing, asset creation, sign off and scheduling, ensuring delivery in line with critical paths.
- Where relevant for activity, work with the wider marketing department and PR team to propose, select and manage creator content to feature on Space NK's Tik Tok.
- Where relevant for activity, propose, select and manage agency partners to create best-in-class social media content.
- Clearly communicate key plans, timelines and updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring marketing, commercial, retail and brand partners are aware of activity and key timelines.
- Forecast and report against business objectives on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, using the Tik Tok platform and internal reporting sources, translating data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Budget management of relevant cost lines, ensuring spend is in line with plan, accurately tracked and invoices paid.
- Effectively line manage and develop a team of two.
- Keep up to date on the latest innovations, trends and updates within Tik Tok, proposing new ideas and opportunities that relate to business objectives.

What we’re looking for- Deep understanding & passion for Tik Tok, with proven experience in managing and growing a Tik Tok presence for a brand
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills
- Highly creative with a strong eye for visual storytelling
- Experience with social media management tools
- Experience of line managing and developing a direct report
- Strong analytical & numerical skills with familiarity using analytics platforms.
- Ability to stay ahead of digital trends and platform updates.
- The ability to prioritise, use initiative and perform under pressure
