This role is for the Open Mind team for Nestle Europe. With 47 countries, +450 team members, and regular new product launches, the account is looking for an ZEUR Commerce Strategy Lead to provide strong eCommerce and Retail Media leadership for in-scope Nestle categories, supporting the ZEUR RDM Lead. The role is responsible for ope rationalising best practices, developing commerce solutions, and delivering Nestle business objectives.
Role Summary and Impact
The ZEUR Commerce Strategy Account Director role will understand the capabilities of commerce platforms including retail media networks and ad-tech partners and will assist in solving complex business problems through simplified POVs. The role will identify product, process, or solution opportunities based on Nestle’s needs and unlocking new growth opportunities across Retail Digital Media channels for Nestle.
This role will have the opportunity to work across Nestle Europe RDM teams, work with retail partners, and support highly dynamic cross-functional project teams. This role will have the ability to infuse the best of our network capabilities into our Nestle’s day-to-day deliverables. An entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and problem-solving is necessary to be successful in this role.
The role is supported by a team of specialists (Above Market, Cluster), Open Mind leadership, and other Category leadership to draw from for inspiration and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the ZEUR RDM Strategy Lead and ensure Above Market principles and best practices are cascaded in the local markets
- Advise on ZEUR opportunities for RDM that should be led out of local markets
- Contribute to up leveling account management and improve how we serve Nestle RDM teams across Europe
- Support specialist teams (organic and paid search, programmatic, data, and analytics) to deliver comprehensive solutions that accomplish Nestle’s business objectives
- Support the integration between commerce and brand media to develop end-to-end media plans for Nestle covering RDM strategy throughout.
- Manage relationships to ensure delivery of first-to-market media solutions
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in retail media. Develop and cascade POVs on changing industry dynamics
- Assist in developing commerce and retail media content for Nestle RDM teams, including educational trainings, POVs, and frameworks.
- Lead the adoption of Commerce tools for Nestle including the adoption of Amazon Marketing Cloud.
- Become a key stakeholder in the Nestle business. Leading and executing their RDM vision
- Work with planning team to help integrate RDM capabilities into everyday planning.
