Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is currently looking for a Senior Conference Producer on a permanent contract to strengthen the team at its Infopro Digital Risk Global division, supporting the  events portfolio.

As Senior Conference Producer, you will be a key player in the  Events team.

You will be contributing to a variety of projects, while developing your skills and reaching new levels of expertise.

Key Accountabilities

As Senior Conference Producer, your role will involve extensive telephone and face-to-face research with industry contacts to develop conference topics and write cutting‑edge conference programmes within the  portfolio of events; recruitment of and liaison with senior‑level speakers; writing content‑led marketing copy; and effective project management of events from their inception to completion.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Keeping to best practice production timelines
  • Project managing event production, operations, marketing, and sales deadlines
  • Researching and developing new launch ideas
  • Developing market‑leading, innovative event programmes through market research
  • Oversight of event budgets and budget management
  • Market research – mainly telephone and face‑to‑face research, but also desk‑based research and attending external events
  • Researching and meeting with potential sponsors
  • Developing commercial formats that deliver value to sponsors
  • Researching, confirming, and managing speakers
  • Brief writing – creating marketing, sales, and telesales briefs which explain your events to the wider team
  • Working with the editorial team to deliver various bespoke content opportunities
  • Writing market‑leading content marketing copy
  • Proof reading
  • Driving website content – working with marketing to keep websites up to date and engaging, including updating event content and speaker biographies and photos online
  • Managing events onsite and speaker liaison
About you
  • Strong research and analytical skills, both phone‑based and face‑to‑face
  • Excellent written communication skills, including content‑led marketing copy
  • Proven ability to project‑manage complex, multi‑stakeholder events
  • Confidence when engaging with senior industry experts and speakers
  • Ability to generate innovative ideas for new event products and formats
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Comfortable working onsite at events and leading speaker liaison
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, History, Politics, Economics, Communications or the sciences is preferred
  • Proactive, curious, high‑energy, results‑oriented – a reputation for getting things done!
  • Industry knowledge in one or more of the following areas is desirable, but not essential: financial markets (derivatives & capital markets, risk management), insurance, and financial technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven research and analytical skills
  • Previous, relevant work experience in a conference or events research environment
  • Very strong attention to detail and effective time management
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to build business relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a high‑pressure environment with tight deadlines
