We’re looking for a Customer & Advocacy Marketing Manager, EMEA to lead how we celebrate, activate, and amplify our customers across one of Klaviyo’s most diverse and high-growth regions.
This isn’t a typical advocacy role. EMEA spans multiple countries, languages, and levels of digital maturity, demanding a hyper-local, culturally intelligent approach. You’ll uncover and champion Klaviyo’s biggest advocates, from fast-growing ecommerce disruptors to established retail brands, transforming their success into stories and activations that build trust and influence across the region.
Sitting within the EMEA Brand & Content team and collaborating with our global Community & Customer Marketing team in Boston, you’ll work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Education, Events, and Content to create scalable programmes that drive meaningful customer engagement and impact throughout EMEA.
How You’ll Make a Difference Customer Storytelling- Identify and develop a portfolio of customer advocates across EMEA with a focus on markets such as (but not limited to) UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Benelux and the Nordics, prioritising those that align with Klaviyo’s regional growth goals.
- Develop frameworks for ‘local hero’ storytelling - amplifying influential brands across all target segments within each sub-region.
- Partner with PR, Events, CS and Sales to spotlight EMEA brands across earned, owned, and shared channels.
- Partner with the global Customer Marketing team to adapt and scale storytelling formats, short videos, written narratives, social highlights, and thought leadership features.
- Support and grow Klaviyo’s global customer advocacy program in EMEA, building relationships with top advocates and ensuring customer participation across speaking engagement, media, and reference opportunities.
- Manage the pipeline of referenceable customers across EMEA and facilitate customer connections for internal teams including Product Marketing, Sales, CS and PR.
- Develop in-region strategies to deepen engagement among top EMEA customers.
- Partner with Events, Community, and Marketing teams to source and prepare customer speakers for flagship moments such as K:
LDN, webinars, and key regional events. - Identify and activate customers to share their stories across partner, industry, and community platforms, both in-person and digitally.
- Plan and execute customer-centric experiences, from intimate round tables and dinners to larger community activations, that align with regional priorities and resonate locally.
- Serve as the regional customer marketing lead for launches, ensuring advocates are activated to support key GTM moments, whether driven globally or locally.
- Work closely with global counterparts to localise global advocacy strategies for EMEA, ensuring they land authentically and compliantly across different markets.
- Navigate the unique legal, linguistic, and cultural complexities of EMEA, from GDPR and brand consent processes to differing notions of public endorsement and data sharing.
- Tailor customer storytelling to resonate with regional trends (e.g., sustainability in Nordics, luxury retail in France/Italy, omnichannel innovation in the UK etc).
