You’ll work closely with colleagues in the Communications Department, in Media Relations, Social Media and Insights & Evaluation, as well as colleagues in Ofcom’s Online Safety policy teams, to plan and manage an integrated communications programme across all platforms. These campaigns will communicate important messages about online safety to consumers and other interested audiences.
We are looking for someone with a strong news sense and a strategic communications and campaigns background. You will bring a combination of media and digital experience, combined with a proven planning and project management skillset.
It’s important that you are good at building strong relationships – often on the phone or in person – with a range of internal and external parties. For Ofcom, these might range from policy professionals to third-party spokespeople, from representatives of charities and expert bodies through to schools or digital-outreach agencies.
