Role OverviewThis senior role leads the overall marketing and communications function for a premium hospitality brand based in London. The Senior Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for shaping brand visibility, guest engagement and commercial performance across all channels.
The position owns brand direction and long‑term strategy, while also ensuring strong day‑to‑day delivery through the leadership of a portfolio of specialist agencies covering PR, digital performance, social content, SEO/PPC and creative. This is a standalone role requiring a highly strategic marketer who is equally comfortable setting direction and driving execution through others.
Working closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef and central teams, the role ensures all marketing activity authentically reflects the brand’s identity and supports clear commercial objectives.
Leadership & Strategic Direction- Define and lead the overarching marketing and communications strategy, brand tone and long‑term positioning.
- Act as a confident brand ambassador with external partners, media and stakeholders.
- Manage and direct all agency relationships, ensuring output aligns with brand standards and business goals.
- Translate commercial targets into integrated marketing plans that drive awareness, demand and cover growth.
- Develop and deliver the annual marketing plan across PR, digital, social, partnerships, content and events.
- Safeguard the brand’s visual identity and ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
- Shape social media strategy and brand storytelling, with execution supported by agency partners.
- Create clear creative briefs for photography, videography and wider brand content.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to support menu launches, seasonal moments and experiential campaigns.
- Lead PR strategy and oversee agency performance, messaging and KPIs.
- Ensure a proactive approach to press coverage, influencer activity, editorial opportunities and hosted visits.
- Oversee digital, SEO and performance agencies, aligning activity with discoverability, bookings and audience growth.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide clear strategic direction where needed.
- Own digital performance across paid media, SEO, website optimisation and the full customer journey.
- Monitor weekly analytics, booking trends and guest behaviour to inform decision‑making.
- Drive ongoing optimisation of website UX, conversion rates, search visibility and paid activity.
- Manage the annual marketing budget in collaboration with senior leadership and finance.
- Track ROI across campaigns, partnerships, influencer activity and digital spend.
- Forecast commercial impact around launches, seasonal activity, press and paid campaigns.
- Review performance regularly and adjust plans to support revenue and growth targets.
- Oversee online reputation across platforms such as Google, booking channels and social media.
- Respond to guest feedback where appropriate and identify recurring themes for leadership review.
- Coordinate content capture around key brand moments, events and VIP activity.
- Ensure both digital and in‑venue guest journeys reflect the brand’s premium positioning.
- Build and maintain relationships with concierges, luxury brands, community partners and media groups.
- Support private dining, group bookings and seasonal activity with tailored marketing strategies.
- Lead the ideation and delivery of collaborations that enhance brand awareness and drive footfall.
- Manage all marketing outputs for internal and external brand activations.
- Analyse weekly and monthly performance across digital, PR, social and booking data.
- Present insights, recommendations and forward plans to senior leadership.
