KidSTART Singapore Ltd. (KSL) is a non-profit organization, incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in September 2020 to support low-income families with children 0-6 years old in child development support and parenting guidance.
Description of Division/BranchCommunications Department is the gatekeeper of information for the organisation and maintains communications channels with both internal and external audiences / stakeholders. Under Corporate communications, the team will manage key announcements and corporate messages in a timely and targeted manner with the desired objective to build and maintain the company’s image.
The team will also manage the overall branding of the organisation. Under Marketing communications, the team is responsible for crafting and implementing communication campaigns, refining brand messaging, and overseeing the social media platforms. The team’s goal will be to promote the KidSTART programme, people and stories in a soft, positive and approachable way.
Responsibilities Strategic Communications- Ideate and support overall communications strategic plan
- Lead in overall content pillars and monthly Communications focus
- Lead in main marketing plans, initiatives and campaigns
- Support in execution of communications plans which includes PR pitching, KOL engagement, social media coordination and paid media management
- Work on gathering insights on KSL’s impact, reputation and identify areas of improvement (eg: Pulse check on KSL’s reputation, point of view from external audiences & families)
- Produce and refine Communication policies to current trends and risks
- Manage Communications related agencies and ensure KPIs, and targets are aligned and achieved
- Maintain good relations and oversee communications between government stakeholders, internal teams, hospitals and KidSTART Agencies
- Support and maintain good relations with media counterparts and selected key opinion leaders
- Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant communication experience in the social service or non-profit sector or related sector
- Able to lead and handle projects timely and effectively with an eye for details
- Excellent independent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good facilitation skills and ability to engage and influence different stakeholders
- Preferably has experience leading a team
