Social Media Executive

Skin + Me is a mission driven start-up with seriously big skin goals.

We’re looking for a Social Media Executive to join our Marketing Team at Skin + Me and take our social channels to the next level! This is a hybrid working role with three days a week in our Paddington HQ (Mon, Tue, Fri) and two days remote.

In this role you’ll have the unique opportunity to work across three distinct business units - Skin + Me, Renew + Me, and Hair + Me. You will be responsible for managing the creation of engaging and brand‑promoting content for the +Me brands.

This role is perfect for you if you are enthusiastic, creative and passionate about skincare and beauty. You should be knowledgeable about the latest social trends and adept at planning, filming and executing new exciting ideas.

• Content creation: comfortable in front of and behind the camera. Confident using tools like Capcut, Canva, Adobe and/or Figma.
• Content Briefing: dream up captivating content, and write briefs for our creative and copy teams to bring to life. You’ll be responsible for developing concepts, brainstorming new campaign ideas, and engaging with our community online.
• Strategy Planning: contribute to our broader social strategy, ensuring content effectively communicates Skin + Me’s key values.
• Be Reactive: thrive in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll always know the latest trends and be thinking about how we can put our own twist on them.
• Brand Guardian: be a brand champion, ensuring polished and professional content across all touchpoints.
• Calendar Management: you’ll be responsible for daily posting and keeping the marketing team up to date with what’s happening on our social channels.
• Reporting:
  You’ll help draft monthly reports and learn how to draw actionable insights from data trends that inform the creative your brief.
• Community engagement alongside our CS team: post on our broadcast channel, Facebook VIP group

• An innate love of social media
• Sound understanding of social media KPIs and how to draw insights from performance
• Excellent attention to detail coupled with the ability & willingness to work quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with in health, beauty or fashion industry preferrable
• Innovative and entrepreneurial nature, highly self‑motivated
• Ability to write clear briefs and involve key stakeholders in the accelerated growth of key channels
• Be proactive: you’re always thinking about solutions, no problem is too big for you

• Play a key role in shaping and scaling social media for a category‑defining, dermatologist‑founded brand.
• Work on impactful, culturally relevant social media campaigns for science‑led products with real clinical credibility.
• Work closely with senior marketing, brand and medical leaders in a highly collaborative environment.
• Influence strategy, ways of working and best practice as the business continues to grow.
