Channel Marketing Manager – On Trade at Campari Group.

Role Overview

This role leads the On Trade Channel strategy and execution for Campari’s priority portfolio. The Channel Marketing Manager will coordinate long‑term (3‑year) channel strategy and short‑term annual channel planning, working with cross‑functional teams in Brand, Commercial, Business Intelligence, Finance and external agencies to deliver brand growth and channel performance.

Key Responsibilities and Activities
  • Drive actionable insights in collaboration with global and local insights teams and agency partners to inform channel plans.
  • Lead the development of overall channel strategy and activation plans for the priority brand portfolio.
  • Oversee execution of channel activation plans in line with outlet segmentation and the Perfect Store model.
  • Conduct rigorous pre‑ and post‑evaluation of major activations to maximise ROI and brand equity.
  • Create effective SKU and activation strategies for key moments of the year, aligning with commercial team customer alignment.
  • Manage and coach the On Trade team to foster high‑performance culture and development.
  • Lead the Campari Academy team, overseeing advocacy programmes and internal hospitality events.
  • Collaborate with the On Trade commercial, brand, BI and finance teams to integrate omni‑channel thinking.
  • Manage agency relationships and control channel/brand agency contracts.
  • Collaborate with finance, logistics and sales on A&P management.
Reporting Lines

Reports to the Consumer, Channel & Customer Marketing Director.

  • CCCM Brand, Insights, IMC and Off Trade Teams
  • Commercial Teams (Mostly NOT/RTM and IFT)

  • House of Brands (Global)
External Relationships
  • Priority partner On Trade customers – including National On Trade, IFT and Route to Market.
  • Creative/Experiential activation agencies.
Experience Required
  • 7+ years of Channel & Customer Marketing or commercial experience, preferably in POP activation or execution; agency experience a plus.
  • On Trade channel or drinks experience – mandatory.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams at different seniority levels.
  • Portfolio brand and channel management with ability to handle multiple priorities.
