Job SummaryWe are looking for a strategic and data‑driven SEO Director to lead and scale our organic growth efforts. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy that boosts visibility, drives qualified traffic, and increases conversions across all digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead an SEO specialist, and ensure best practices are embedded into all aspects of site and content development.
WhatYou’ll Own & Lead
- Develop and lead a long‑term SEO strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Drive organic growth through technical and content‑based optimisation.
- Manage and mentor an SEO Specialist.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with content, design, development, and marketing teams.
- Report accurate performance insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Senior Leadership.
- Use technology and AI tools to enhance efficiency and impact.
- Stay current with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and social media best practices.
- Oversee keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance audits.
- Manage SEO budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Lead link‑building, site migrations, and optimisation of key landing pages.
- Widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading SEO professionals, with a proven track record of delivering measurable, high‑impact results in a senior role.
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with a hands‑on, data‑driven approach.
- Deep understanding of technical, on‑page, and off‑page SEO.
- Proficient in industry tools (e.g., SEMrush).
- Familiar with HTML/CSS and CMS platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred.
