The RoleThe Ecommerce Assistant will play a key role in the day‑to‑day execution and optimisation of the RIXO website. Supporting the Ecommerce team across the full online customer journey, this role helps ensure the site is accurate, engaging, and trading effectively. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities E-commerce & Website Management- Lead end‑to‑end product launches, ensuring accurate, on‑brand, and timely execution across all digital touchpoints.
- Drive ongoing ecommerce optimisations across merchandising, navigation, search, content, and promotions to maximise trading performance.
- Perform regular site reviews across all markets to ensure accuracy, functionality, and effectiveness with market localisation, independently resolving issues with relevant teams.
- Manage and prioritise ad‑hoc website and digital requests to meet business deadlines efficiently.
- Work closely with the CRM Manager to build, schedule, and test email and SMS campaigns across both marketing and automated journeys.
- Feed into creative briefs for all digital outputs, collaborating with internal teams and third‑party agencies to ensure requirements are clear and achievable.
- Partner with the Brand team to ensure all marketing activity is correctly briefed, built, and live on the website ahead of planned launch dates.
- Support data and reporting requests using Google Analytics, in‑platform performance metrics, and internal business data.
- Analyse available data to independently develop insights and recommendations, sharing clear and actionable feedback with the wider team and business.
- Carry out monthly competitor and innovator monitoring across CRM, performance marketing, and e‑commerce, sharing insights and opportunities with the wider team.
- Act as the key knowledge holder for digital systems and platforms, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve digital processes and workflows.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities, whilst effectively able to manage multiple prioritise and tasks simultaneously.
- Curious and eager to learn, with a desire to continuously improve digital performance.
- Confident taking ownership of tasks while knowing when to elevate or collaborate.
- Confident using Excel and other digital reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Interested or previous experience in fashion.
- Shopify experience preferred but not essential.
- 1‑year minimum Ecommerce experience.
