Role OverviewWe need a creative force who can explore the entire world of EVs and craft content that intrigues and engages everyone—from the EV‑curious who haven’t considered buying yet, to the in‑market enthusiasts. You’ll be a hands‑on creative, responsible for growing our audience and impact of the content we create, making electric driving feel irresistible to the masses.
What you’ll do- Create scroll‑stopping video and written social posts – memes, campaign launches, easy‑to‑understand explainers.
- Use social listening tools to predict wider trends, better understand our customers, competitors, and the wider EV industry.
- Measure impact by analysing data to test, learn, and improve content performance.
- Prioritise and schedule content week‑to‑week to keep it timely, fresh and impactful.
- Create social‑first content that can also be repurposed for emails, sales teams, and other channels.
- Understand our audiences – drivers, salary‑sacrifice customers, and business decision‑makers.
- At least three years’ work experience in social media and content.
- Experience creating content across Instagram, Tik Tok, and You Tube.
- Video production and editing skills.
- Social listening experience (Brandwatch).
- Content performance analysis and reporting.
- Chronically online and fascinated by internet culture.
- Deep understanding of how people think and engage with content.
- T‑shaped development – adaptable and eager to take on new challenges.
- Passion for sustainability and convincing more people to drive electric.
- Ability to prioritise ruthlessly and think critically, discerning which tasks to tackle.
- Strong understanding of how social media and brand building drive long‑term growth and the ability to communicate that clearly.
- Set high standards for content quality.
- Able to create fun, quirky content that complies with FCA regulations.
