We're supporting a leading manufacturing business in recruiting a Temporary Tactical Buyer to keep materials flowing smoothly during a busy period.

If you thrive in a hands‑on purchasing role, can hit the ground running, and love keeping operations moving, this is a great short‑term opportunity.

• Raising and managing purchase orders in the ERP system
• Expediting materials and chasing suppliers to support production
• Monitoring confirmations, deliveries, and shortages
• Maintaining accurate data to support inventory control
• Liaising closely with Planning, Stores, Production, and suppliers
• Handling general buying and supply chain admin tasks

• Experience as a Buyer / Purchasing Assistant / Supply Chain Coordinator
• Manufacturing or operational background preferred
• Confident using ERP systems + strong Excel skills
• Great attention to detail and the ability to juggle priorities
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently

This is a perfect interim position for someone highly dependable who can step in, stabilise day‑to‑day purchasing activity, and keep production supplied without missing a beat.
