Preparation Operative

• Using machinery to prepare materials example: slice, dice, chop.
• Speak English & be able to read notices especially those relating to personal safety & food safety.
• Prepare and or cook vegetables and sauces, put together other mixes for production.
• DE BOX products and materials supplied from stores.
• Ensure correct colour code and part code labels are added to all containers holding food.
• Clean machinery after use or before changing to new products.
• Be able to learn the difference between similar food products.
• Report any instances where food may be put at risk.
• Working as a part of the team.
• Your job role will be rotated with others periodically.
• All preparation areas to be kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Understand the need for accuracy in weighing materials.
• Comply with Food safety rules in the factory.
• Comply with health & safety rules not only for yourself but also in the consideration of others.
• Carry out any other reasonable task that may be set you from time to time.
• Degree of flexibility is required at the start and end of shift in order to meet the need of the business.

Prep Operative - Harrow

• £13.00 per hour
• Fri & Sat - 05.45 - 13.45 / Sun & Mon - 14.00 - 22.00

These roles are at our Bakkavor Pizza site based in Harrow and specialises in making chilled pizzas. The site employs around 850 people, and with being situated in North London, good public transport links are available.
