Lead Software Engineer

Albany Growth are partnered with a high-growth, profitable fintech expanding their UK engineering function. They operate internationally and are investing heavily in security, reliability and operational excellence across their payments infrastructure.

They’re looking for both Lead and Senior level engineers to join their core cards / payments teams.

This is not a pure feature factory role. You’ll be improving deployment efficiency, raising security standards and helping modernise engineering processes alongside an experienced team.

• Strong commercial experience with modern .NET Core
• Experience building and running services in Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of Postgres + ORMs (EF Core ideal)
• Someone who cares about reliability, deployment maturity and security

• Salaries from £100k - £140k
• Profitable business (11% company wide bonus paid last year)
• 3 - 6 month salary reviews (very meritocratic culture)
• Optional London Bridge (if you want some office balance)
• Travel to Asia once per year if you’d like exposure
