TLC Auto Refinishing Ltd is a well-established commercial vehicle body builder with over 20 years of industry success. Based in Feltham near Heathrow, we specialise in high-quality, bespoke vehicle body builds for fleet operators across the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Fabricator / MIG Welder / Vehicle Body Builder to join our skilled workshop team!

This is a hands-on role building commercial vehicle bodies from chassis upwards not repetitive production line work.

You will be responsible for fabricating and assembling commercial vehicle bodies to high industry standards.

• MIG welding (TIG welding desirable but not essential)
• Fabricating and assembling vehicle bodies from chassis level
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and build specifications
• Working with steel, aluminium, fibreglass, and timber components
• Cutting, drilling, fitting, and assembling parts accurately
• Installing tail lifts (training provided)
• Ensuring all builds meet safety and quality standards
• This is skilled workshop work requiring precision, mechanical understanding, and pride in workmanship.

• Has strong MIG welding experience
• Has fabrication experience (commercial vehicle, coach building, plant, or similar desirable)
• Can read and work from technical drawings
• Takes pride in producing high-quality builds
• Works well independently and within a team
• Is reliable, punctual, and committed long-term
• Experience in commercial vehicle body building, HGV fabrication, or coach building is highly desirable but we welcome strong fabrication backgrounds from related industries.

• £40,000-£45,000+ per year depending on experience
• £1,000 joining bonus
