Overview
SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and Yasa.
In addition to the high-volume existing business, we are also developing new production lines and processes for a range of new products including hydrogen power for transport, electric vehicles and the next generation of hybrid vehicles and trucks.
Responsibilities- Replacing and setting cutting tools
- Selecting and changing programmes as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Recording measurements on computer using SPC control, and monitoring OEE
- Ideally the candidate should have 2-3 years experience as a CNC machinist (experience with operating systems such as Fanuc a bonus) or have completed an apprenticeship in CNC machinery (Minimum Level
3).
