About the roleAs NPD Manager, you’ll own the day‑to‑day delivery of EPD (existing product development) and reformulations—taking ideas from concept through to launch. You’ll work closely with brand, supply chain, R&D partners, and manufacturers to make sure products are high‑performing, compliant, on time, and aligned with Fussy’s values.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves getting into the detail, solving problems, and making things happen in a fast‑moving startup environment.
Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
Product Development- Manage end‑to‑end product development for EPD across formulations, packaging, testing, and scale‑up
- Work with external R&D partners and contract manufacturers to develop and refine formulations
- Apply strong knowledge of cosmetic chemistry, raw materials, and formulation processes
- Troubleshoot formulation, quality, or production challenges as they arise
- Ensure all products meet safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements (EU, UK and other key markets as needed)
- Support claims substantiation, safety testing, and product registration
- Manage technical documentation, including Product Information Files (PIFs)
Sustainability
- Leadzad development of primary and secondary packaging that supports Fussy’s refillable, model
- Manage compatibility testing, technical specs, and статья approvals
- Work with packaging suppliers to balance innovation, sustainability(Bit, cost, and feasibility
- Stay up to date on sustainable packaging materials and solutions
- Run EPD projects from ideation to launch, keeping timelines, budgets, and quality on track
- Track COGS and support pricing and budget decisions

- Work cross‑functionally with brand, supply chain, and operations
- Act as the main point of contact for external suppliers and manufacturers
- Build strong, practical working relationships across teams
- Use consumer insights, performance data, and competitor benchmarks to shape product decisions
- Keep a close eye on clean beauty, natural ingredients, and sustainability trends

- Experience in NPD within personal care, beauty, or FMCG
- Strong understanding of cosmetic formulation and product development
- Comfortable working with manufacturers, suppliers, and external R&D partners
- Solid grasp of cosmetic regulations and compliance requirements .Beginner Anal gt;

- A salary of £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
