The Production Coordinator reports into the Head of Product Development and Production and takes ownership of production once the product is signed off. Working closely with Product Development and Logistics, you will ensure product is delivered on time, to target margins, and in line with agreed delivery windows. This is a hands‑on role for an experienced coordinator who enjoys managing a complex supply chain and owning detail, timelines, and communication.
Key Responsibilities- Manage production timelines to ensure bulk purchase orders are placed in line with the critical path for raw materials and finished goods
- Maintain accurate production critical paths across both FOB and CMT manufacturers
- Communicate daily with suppliers and factories to monitor production status
- Work with Product Development to ensure accurate bulk raw material orders are placed
- Maintain accurate raw material trackers across critical path documents, Zedonk, mill trackers, and weekly stock reports
- Own relationships with manufacturers, managing capacity, bulk orders, and shipments
- Lead weekly production calls to track key deadlines including bulk orders, raw materials in house, pre‑production approvals, cut dates, and production completion
- Negotiate and confirm bulk prices and delivery dates in line with target margins and delivery plans
- Communicate production updates clearly to the wider business, including logistics, marketing, and digital teams
- Review and validate bulk invoices before passing for processing
- Add signed‑off styles and accurate product data into the critical path and Zedonk
- Update Zedonk with confirmed bulk prices and order details
- Chase raw material deliveries to ensure adherence to garment critical paths
- Request and manage bulk quality control approvals prior to shipment
- Ensure logistics has full and accurate product information for warehouse handover
- Manage line cards with Merchandising and confirm top‑up dates when required
- Oversee the workload and priorities of the Production Assistant
- At least two years professional experience in a similar production or coordination role
- Experience using Zedonk
- Strong understanding of product costings and confident negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage external partners and complex critical paths
- Clear and confident communication skills, both internally and externally
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
