Overview
A leading Asian food company in the UK is looking for a Supply Chain and Production Executive. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production processes, ensuring smooth production planning, demand analysis, and managing relationships with outsourced production companies. The role requires a keen focus on efficient production management and supply chain coordination to meet organizational goals. Understanding of Japanese culture would be advantageous.
Details- TYPE: permanent, full-time
- WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm - SALARY: £28K- depending on experience, plus benefits such as employee discount and free parking
- START: 2nd March 2026
- LOCATION:
Zone 6 of North London (Hybrid working style)
- Oversee the production processes at co-packing partners to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery, and high-quality standards
- Develop and implement production schedules to ensure manufacturing targets are met efficiently and on time
- Perform detailed demand forecasting and analysis to determine required production volume and material requirements
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to meet organizational goals
- Manage relationships with outsourced production partners
- Ensure effective management of raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory
- Continuously analyse and improve production and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
- Provide regular reports to senior management on production performance, supply chain metrics, and demand planning forecasts
- Experience in production management, production planning, and supply chain coordination
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- A team player, with the ability to work independently and manage workload
- Business level of fluency in English
- Some understanding of Japanese culture would be advantageous
