Job OverviewTitle: Multiskilled Operative
Reports to: Area Manager
Location: Chessington, Surrey KT9 1TW
Salary: £24 692.25‑£29 198.35 per annum (£12.30‑£14.54ph)
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off
Hours: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
We are currently searching for full‑time permanent food production operatives to join our day shift. Immediate start is available for the right candidates.
Accountabilities of the role- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, start‑up checks, etc.) to start a production cycle.
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed).
- Feed raw material or parts to semi‑automated machines.
- Load products into trays and bags as per customer specifications.
- Prepare finished products ready for dispatch and delivery.
- Ensure all products and packaging are correctly labelled.
- Add cardboard sleeves to packed products.
- Ensure all stock being loaded or unloaded matches the relevant paperwork / load plan.
- Maintain a safe, clean and tidy working environment.
- Manually handle equipment in a safe and timely manner.
To be successful in this role you don’t require any previous experience, just a willingness to learn, progress and help the team.
Required- Ability to commute to the site based in Chessington, KT9 1TW
