About the Role

WF Tech are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a long-established British manufacturer of high-quality precision-engineered products, supplying clients across the luxury and heritage sectors.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their skilled production team based in Wood Green, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a precision engineer who takes pride in their craft and wants to work in a clean, well-organised, and supportive workshop environment.

This is a days-based position offering flexible start and finish times, giving you a better work-life balance while being part of a team dedicated to quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set, operate, and program CNC turning machines (Fanuc / Siemens / Mazak controls).
  • Machine precision components in brass and other non-ferrous materials to tight tolerances.
  • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
  • Carry out quality checks using micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
  • Maintain machine performance and ensure efficient production flow.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the production team.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner or precision engineer.
  • Confident in setting, operating, and programming CNC lathes.
  • Ability to work to fine tolerances from detailed technical drawings.
  • Experience working with brass or non-ferrous metals (advantageous).
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification preferred.
